Mothers of the New Time in Avalon!

CAYA's Mothers of the New Time Priestess Tribe will present at the Glastonbury Goddess Conference in Avalon in August 2017! Twelve CAYA High Priestesses will make the journey, touring sacred sites of Britain, and sharing their wisdom, creativity, and magic with other Goddess sisters from all over the globe. Each High Priestess will bring her personally-dedicated Goddess along, with offerings, music, movement, and magic. Notably, the Mothers of the New Time will be preparing a sacred ceremony of song and sisterhood for the Goddess Conference, mixing the mystical waters of the Red and White Springs of Avalon with the healing waters of the American Red and White Springs found near Mt. Shasta, California. The Mothers are calling for women of the world to join together in healing the waters of the planet and the waters of their bodies with their rallying cry, "All water is one water!"

The Mothers of the New Time have banded together to support one another financially in making this journey possible. The Tribe is comprised of women from all walks of life and economic backgrounds. For some, this journey would be impossibly costly if not for the sharing economy of the Tribe and its supporters. If you would like to support or sponsor a Priestess on this amazing pilgrimage, please make a donation below. Who are the Mothers of the New Time, and why is this pilgrimage important to them?

Reverend Mother Yeshe Matthews I have now had the honour of presenting at the Glastonbury Goddess Conference three times: once with my beloved sister and friend Ava Park about the Queen archetype, and two other times I have presented about women's empowerment, the dharma and the Dakinis. I have long held the dream that my entire tribe of sisters would one day join me at this amazing event, and I can't wait to share the sights, sounds, and magic of Avalon with them. Our tribe is ready to connect with more international Goddess women and help usher in a global era of peace, plenty, and joy as we weave the threads of our extended community web more tightly around our shared commitment to a better world for all. I will be representing the Deer Mother on this trip, a Goddess known by many names in many different cultures. The Deer Mother is the guardian of peace and sustainability, and her magic is the preservation of the Old Ways and reverence for nature and indigenous wisdom. She reminds us to tread with care upon the Earth, to protect and drink deeply of sacred healing waters, and to give great love and care to the soft warmth of our animal bodies. She is nourishment and power, strength and quietude, at once. I cannot adequately express my thanks for all of the love and community support that has always accompanied me on my trips to Avalon before now. I have truly never made this journey alone, always bringing you along in my heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support, whether in prayer, donations, or good wishes. Please know that all of the donations that are given to me for this trip will be shared directly with the tribe to lessen collective costs so that all may have greater ease during this wonderful adventure.

Doyenne Rowan Nightshade To have the opportunity to travel to Glastonbury and present at The Goddess Conference is something I never would have imagined was possible 9 years ago when I began working with this amazing tribe of women. I have seen that the way we've learned to work together and support each other in sisterhood can change lives, including my own, and I've seen it inspire other women to create safe, empowering space for each other. My desire to share this awareness with all women is what makes traveling to The Goddess Conference so important to me. I believe that, more than ever, the world needs women to come together to create positive change, and I think it's truly possible if we can only realize that we have the collaborative power to do it.  I grew up listening to my mother telling me Arthurian legends and old folk tales of Britain, and I've felt a strong pull and deep connection to the British Isles since I was a child. Visiting Stonehenge and Bath, among other places, is a dream come true. For the Conference, I'm bringing my mother Goddess Brigid with me, and I feel a great responsibility to represent her respectfully; I've worked with different aspects of Brigid over the years, including Brigantia from whence the names Britannia and Britain come. Her strength, creativity, and healing wisdom are important models for us as we work to craft an equitable and sustainable future. She knows about hard work and she also knows about beauty; we will need both to thrive. It's no small thing to carry her with me to some of the lands where she originates, but I trust that as long as I listen to her, I'll do alright. Any and all support is a tremendous gift for which I am sincerely grateful. I love this community, I am proud of it, and it is my joy to serve in it. I look forward to sharing what we do with the wider Goddess community and I know that none of this would be possible without all of you. You're the reason I'm here, and I am so appreciative of your support. All donations I receive will be used to help the entire tribe make this magical trip. Thank you.
