An invitation to the men of the world - please share widely!
2014 Father of Change working:
All Water is One Water
The GreenMen Tribe, a sacred gathering of men in the San Francisco Bay Area, invite the men of the world to join us in a collective ritual and spell-working to harmonize and attune our divine energetic consciousness in order to awaken the power of change for a healthy and sustainable future; a future of prosperous equality for all. By performing this ritual at our own altars, we grid the Earth with the energy of the shared vision of intentional change.
Brothers (all who identify themselves as men or with the Divine masculine): we invite you to complete the Ritual practice every Dark Moon, completing the working on December 22, 2014. Together we are "cleansing the way" with empowered intention and creation as we work as one to bring about our shared vision.
Sisters and those who do not identify with the masculine: please hold us in your thoughts as we endeavor this working. Be our supporting and equal partners in our work. Each Dark Moon, take a moment to hold the project in your thoughts and envision its success. Send us energy. Send us Reiki. Sing or drum for us. Join your own ideals with our ideals to help us shape and raise the future we are creating. We encourage you to join our sisters at The Mothers of the New Time on their working on the Full Moons to add to the growing power of our work together.
Want to participate? What should you do? If you would join us in this effort, please:
- let us know by joining us on our Facebook page
- share this working and its intent with other men you know
- do the following ritual at your own altar each Dark Moon between now and December 22, 2014.
We begin January 1, 2014, but join us whenever you wish.
The Ritual Working
Read and contemplate the ideals we envision for our world, both immediate and in the future, adding your own thoughts and ideas. As you contemplate this vision of the coming world, focus on the change that is surely and assuredly happening, waste no time with regrets that it is not here yet. Focus instead on the joy and pride that you are feeling as you help to completely manifest these things coming to be.
For our working this coming year you will need the following:
- A bottle with a cap or closure
- a chalice or glass
On the evening of the Dark Moon beginning on January 1, 2014, and continuing on each Dark Moon through December 22, 2014, fill your chalice or glass with pure, clean water. Hold your filled glass and take a moment to stand before your altar or any sacred space that you have set up and breathe into your center - that deep internal place that is the source of your intent and where all change is possible. Internalize the knowing that All Water is One Water, with the power to cleanse and purify, to wash away the dust of all that was. Know that water always seeks to flow and in so doing erodes away all the blocks and obstacles that hinder its progress.
Fill yourself with all the thoughts of change that help this world to be better in all ways. Bring up all the ways that you can help to foster and create that change, not only within but also in your daily life to the world around you. Allow those intentions and energy to flow into the water that you hold.
When you are ready, dip your fingers into the water and touch your forehead or crown saying:
“My intention for Change starts with my Will”
Anoint the palms of your hands while stating:
“My hands create and receive the Change that is”
Touch each foot and say:
“Each step carries me forth into my intention for Change”
Drink some of the water in your glass and allow the energy to infuse all parts of your inner self, and when you are ready recite the Fathers of Change prayer below:
I stand at the edge of Creation
As did my Fathers before me
I am a Sacred Champion
My love is courageous, boundless, and free
I open my heart to the rising Sun
and embrace the future unfolding
There is nothing to fear
I am a Father of Change
Say this once, or as many times as it feels right for you to do so. Add to its power by singing it, drumming or raising energy in your own unique way. Allow your energy to infuse the remaining water within your glass while deeply knowing that all water is connected. As your words vibrate through the water before you, they vibrate out into all the waters of the world, and through it you connect your intention and power to all others participating in this rite all across the world. Remember that all water is one water, and that the water of our bodies is the same as the sea and the rain and the river. The energy of water flows and returns to you like a great tide, the waves of true and undeniable change that begins with your own personal divine source.
Pour the remaining water from your chalice into the bottle. Keep this bottle on your altar or other sacred, safe space for the remainder of the year, adding to it on each new moon working. On December 22, 2014, take your full bottle of blessed water to a lake, stream, river, pond, ocean, sea, or other living body of water, and pour it in while reciting the Fathers of Change prayer.
As this year goes by and you find the need to do something important, to hold for the greater good, to take a stand, or to feel empowered in your truth, remember the power of the water within you. The water in our blood and in our bodies is connected to all the waters of the world in ways that are compassionate, empowering, creative and ever flowing. It always finds or creates the right and correct path as it makes its way, as it flows from the places of old to the places of new with truth, conscience, responsible action, self empowerment and personal sovereignty.
