Drum-Dance-Flow Circle for July's Full Moon

Let’s have a drum-dance-flow circle the day after the full moon in July! Everyone is welcome, at any level of skill and interest. Please bring a drum or another instrument, if you have one (or more) and wish to play and/or share. (Don’t let lack of a drum keep you from coming, though! We often have extras, as well as jingle bells, egg shakers, and other small percussive instruments, or if you find an empty water bottle, a pie pan, etc, those can make cool sounds, too. Get creative!) Folks wanting to dance, hoop, spin, or just move to the music in their own way are wanted, too! Kids are very welcome. Please do watch out for your little ones in the proximity of spinning hoops, staffs, poi, etc.

Summer Solstice Ritual and Celebration in the Vortex

Our gathering takes place a few days after Solstice when this year's longest day gifts us with 14 hours and 50 minutes of light between dawn and dusk. We'll embrace the outer light, grow our inner light and share it with the World. We'll play and practice ways to brighten the darkness on our precious plane. Surely now is the time to gather more light and bring it forth.

The Midsummer Revels

You love the Midwinter Revels - now join us for the Midsummer Revels! This special fundraiser for California Revels is more than a party; it's a chance for everyone, young and old, who's ever wondered what it's like to take the Revels stage and be part of creating the magic. Learn new songs, hone your country dance moves - you might even contribute your instrument to the town band, study Morris dance or act in the Mummer's play.

At the end of the day we'll come together in a sylvan glade for a public performance, followed by a festive reception and auction.
