Ignite The Dream Of 2018
Reflect. Renew. Rejoice.

Alcohol, Drug & Fragrance Free | ADA Accessible | For Women & Girls 16+

This is a fundraiser for launching the GRRRLS program at Labrys School of Self Healing & Empowerment for Women & Girls, a nonprofit in Oakland.

Join an all women gathering for a feast of the senses and ceremonial celebration this New Year's Eve.

Opening your imagination and evoking wonder, the evening invites merrymaking over nourishing food and drinks. With magical creatures as our guides, we come together with friends old and new to reflect, renew, and rejoice.

The night promises a blend of introspective and interactive opportunities to pause and look back, be grateful in your good fortune, and affirm yourself. Enjoy a multicultural and soulful music concert. Participate in the festivities, rituals, and games offered for your play and pleasure. And spend time in contemplations or conversations in the fireside garden lounge.

Beckoned by midnight, rapt in anticipation, we gather for a community ceremony. Singing, dancing, drumming, we call upon our strengths, intentions, and prayers to Ignite the dream of the New Year.

And you go forth inspired to live in your heart's desire...

Labrys School offers transformative, educational and creative programs to help women and girls gain inner knowledge of their holistic selves. Through individual and interactive work in groups, we invite our students to gain skill sets to heal, grow and empower themselves. Our goal is that each of us be well and happy in order to be vibrant participants and change makers in our local, national and global community.

GRRRLS Program:
Labrys School is preparing to offer innovative and inspirational program for girls in middle school, high school, and college in the new future. Through creative adventures and insightful games, this program aims at self empowerment. The intention is for girls, starting young, to be aware of their self worth and learn how to deal with their dreams and dilemmas from a place of choice.
