Learn the "open secrets" of healthy postural alignment based on people in traditional cultures, who stay straight and strong into old age. These cultures maintain the original posture that we all had as children.

Learning the alignment guidelines of the Balance Posture Method (aka "Spinefulness") will help you reduce or eliminate pain, increase relaxation, regain energy, and get back to doing the things you love. We'll cover pain-free standing, walking, healthy bending, and pain-free sitting at the computer or in a car. Workshop includes a slideshow, explanations/demonstrations, practice, and hands-on guidance.

Dana Davis, MA, CYT, is a Senior Certified Balance Teacher by the Balance Center in Palo Alto, California, where she has studied and worked with Jean Couch (author of The Runner's Yoga Book) since 1996. She is a graduate of the 3-year Advanced Studies Program at the Yoga Room in Berkeley. She has studied Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater, and is a certified "Relax and Renew" Trainer. She became certified by Elise Miller to teach Yoga for Scoliosis in 2013, and completed advanced studies with Richard Miller, Ph.D., in Yoga Nidra/iRest.
