Oz the Owl has a look of kindness as well as wisdom. As a magical owl, he is a one-of-a-kind species unto himself! In this class, you will learn the basics of needle-felting with wool over a cotton wrapped armature. Denise will walk you through the steps of creating a basic head, body, wings, and talons. Oz’s eyes are created from hand painted glass cabochons, and his beak is made from polymer clay. Denise will teach you both of these processes, and will also have ready-made pieces available. When complete, Oz stands 8 inches tall. He would make a wonderful Halloween prop or a unique gift for any owl collector in your life.
