CAYA Coven's Brotherhood of the Moon welcomes all self-identified men to join them in observing the Laughing Moon!
As the heat of Summer flares and the year's burdens loom large, humor can lighten our load and bring unimagined ease! CAYA Coven's Brotherhood of the Moon welcomes all self-identified men to join them in a ritual to laugh at and about whatever may be bothersome. Together we will wield powers joyous and wily as we invite needed change into our lives, with help from Apollo and Hermes. Then join the chorus, and laugh! Life's really a lot more fun that way. Try it, you'll like it!!!
Chairs will be provided. Please feel free to bring a cushion if you prefer to sit on the floor. Please bring anything you would like to place on the altar and we request you bring representations of those deities for yourself that ring out with the power of the divine masculine.
As we continue to celebrate the harvest season, we will be collecting dry and canned food donations at all this ritual. If you are able, please bring something. This food goes to the Alameda County Community Food Bank, where it is redistributed to folks who need it.
Each year, CAYA Coven also hosts a virtual food drive to support hungry families in Alameda County. The ACCFB is a huge supplier and clearinghouse for donations, providing healthy food to smaller distribution centers throughout the area.
Follow this link https://www.vfd-accfb.org/home.aspx if you'd like to donate money in the name of CAYA. Use the drop down menu on the top right to attribute your donation to CAYA, so we can keep track. If we hit our goal of $500 (not much), we will be providing over $3000 worth of food to our friends and neighbors. Let's blow that goal out of the water (even if you don't live here)!
"For every $1 contributed, we’ll provide $6 worth of healthy food to low-income children, adults and seniors in our neighborhoods. Whether a warm meal at a soup kitchen or a bag of healthy groceries from one of our Mobile Pantries, you nourish the bodies and minds of our community’s most vulnerable.
Thank you for partnering with us in our pursuit of a hunger-free community.
The Alameda County Community Food Bank"
Together, we are creating the better world we seek to live in.
