Yogurt is the product of milk fermentation, and was first used as way to preserve dairy products. It is also an integral component of regional cuisine throughout the world. Now you can learn how to make your own at home from the woman who wrote the book on yogurt, Janet Fletcher. Janet is a James Beard Award-winning cookbook author and food writer and has just released Yogurt: Sweet and Savory Recipes for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. In this workshop she will demonstrate to attendees the simple yet indispensable techniques of home yogurt making. Following the demo, workshop participants will sample recipes from Janet’s new book, and will receive a signed copy of the book.
