Seeds of Time
Wednesday, May 6, 7:30-9:00PM
Grange at SHED, 25 North Street, Healdsburg

See the powerful story of the worldwide movement to protect seed diversity and the future of humankind itself in a special SHED screening of Seeds of Time. The film chronicles the perfect storm of the world’s crumbling seed banks, systemic crop failures, and the accelerating effects of climate change as agriculture pioneer Cary Fowler races against time to protect the future of our food. It takes viewers on a journey around the world from the communities of indigenous Peruvian farmers who are desperately trying to save more than 1,500 varieties of native potato in their fields to the scientists and policy makers who are working to preserve the genetic diversity of domesticated crops and with it our 10,000-year history of agrarian existence.

The film is a must-see for anyone who is interested in learning more about the foundation of our food system. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.

Doors for this event open at 7:00PM. The screening will begin promptly at 7:30PM.
