Mr. and Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy invite you to the annual ball at Pemberley to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
Regency and 1820s evening dress or modern evening dress is admired but not required. Role-playing is encouraged.
Bangers & Mash - capital in their country dances - will play a variety of favorite English country dances from Jane Austen's lifetime as well as a number of exquisite new waltzes and possibly one of the Quadrilles that have become so popular at Almack's. If you would like a brush-up on your country dances, we will have a pre-ball dance class at 7:00PM, and all country dances will be taught and/or called at the ball.
Mrs. Darcy has planned a light snack buffet to sustain us through an evening of vigorous dancing (Your potluck contributions are welcome in Mrs. Reynolds' kitchen), and there will be a no host bar.
