Magical Plant Practice
with Liz Migliorelli
Sunday, March 29, 2:00-4:00PM
field day, 329 19th Street, Oakland

Join us our resident alchemist, Sister Spinster, as she shares the magic!

"The art of changing consciousness at will" is one way in which the practice of magic is defined. If this is true of magic, then magic is at the heart of healing ourselves. This workshop will dive into working with plants for healing in the magical realm. We will discuss the deep folk traditions of magic as medicine and self-determination, intuitive practice, using plants with magical purpose and basic ritual work. For the love of plants!

There will be a bit of medicine making as well. :)

Liz Migliorelli, aka Sister Spinster, is a western clinical herbalist and magic maker. Her herbal work is inspired by the folklore and energetics of the plants and aims to find herbs that bring one’s personal mythology into balance. She teaches at the Ohlone Herbal Center in Berkeley and at the Ancestral Apothecary school in Oakland. She is the founder of Sister Spinster Apothecary where she is committed to making flower essences in love and ceremony for her community.
