Saturday, March 28, 10:00AM-2:00PM
Ulistac Natural Area, 4901 Lick Mill Boulevard, Santa Clara
Every spring, Ulistac Natural Area Restoration and Education Project (UNAREP) invites members from from the community to come together to celebrate nature and the environment by hosting a Wildflower Day Celebration. This free event will take place near the south entrance of the Ulistac Natural Area, closest to Hope Drive.
This year we hope to have our best ever turn out of local organizations hosting booths at Wildflower Day. Some of the booths will have fun games for kids, others will be there to share what they do, some may have things to give away. There should be something for everyone!
As well as our usual tours of Ulistac, this year we are delighted to be able to offer a biologist-led bird walk thanks to San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory!
Once again we are delighted to have the South Bay Folks playing at our event. Live Music will be played throughout the day!
Feeling crafty? Kids and adults alike, can visit the arts and crafts booth run by Ulistac Volunteers and make something to take home. We are also hoping to have a small quiz available for kids which will take you on a short walk through the butterfly garden. Ask at the welcome booth for the quiz!
Finally, we are pleased to announce that we will be getting a visit from Smokey Bear at this year’s Wildflower Day!
