Sangita's original songs about her travels, deities of many cultural traditions, and personal observations are enhanced by Paul's multi-instrumental talents. This concert merges lyric with a compelling music of the spirit and heart.
Composer/sarod player Sangita Moskow has gained international recognition for her innovative work with the electric lute. She studied classical North Indian music eighteen years with the renowned maestro Ali Akbar Khan and others. She has performed extensively throughout Europe, Mexico, and the U.S.
Paul Eastburn is a Bay Area treasure. His ability to evoke a depth of emotion within any number of musical styles and with so many instruments is truly remarkable.
