Luisah Teish is a writer, storyteller, and elder in the Ifa/Orisha tradition of the African diaspora. She performs sacred stories, conducts rituals and creates art with recycled materials. She is the author of Jambalaya: The Natural Woman’s Book of Personal Charms and Practical Rituals, and co-authored On Holy Ground: Commitment and Devotion to Sacred Land with Kahuna Leilani Birely.

These lectures and hands-on workshops feature Bay Area healers, practitioners, and doctors who use plant medicine in both theory and practice.  Come learn how herbalism fits into the dynamic practices of these community leaders.
