People have always menstruated. Have you ever wondered about menstruation before disposable pads and tampons?
Come connect your personal menstrual experience to all those who have bled before you in a long, unbroken, matrilineal line.
We will overview some interesting facets in the history of menstruation; provide a space for sharing your and your family’s own menstrual journey; and discuss how sustainable options are supporting people worldwide to care for their bodies and the earth, stay in school, and have more agency in their life!
This is the tenth brown-bag discussion hosted by Natural Flow. All are welcome to attend, regardless of menstruation status or any other factor. Come for all or part of the time.
