Winter is coming! So let's dance!
Don your most fashionable attire for a ball at the magnificent Court of King's Landing in Westeros. As fans of Mr. G.R.R. Martin's novels (in the "Song of Ice and Fire" series) and its HBO adaptation, "Game of Thrones," will assure you, you will be in style with Medieval, Renaissance, or fantasy costume mixing historical periods. Diplomats from across the Narrow Sea will look fine in Middle Eastern, Far Eastern, or African costume, and Italian Renaissance is just the thing for you stylish visitors from Bravos.
Celebrated Celtic Fusion band Avalon Rising plays a variety of waltzes, polkas, and mazurkas, Medieval and Renaissance dances, courtly country dances, and some of their famous rock and reel.
As Her Grace the Queen Regent is well aware that some of her visitors may not be well-versed in the fashionable dances of the court, there will be a pre-ball dance class at 7:00PM and all set dances will be taught and called at the ball. She and Ser Jaime assure you that if you can walk, you can probably do most of these dances! And would they lie to you?
Lord Tyrion, always with an eye to the Royal budget, would be grateful for your potluck contributions to the Royal Buffet, and assures us that the wine will flow plentifully at our no-host bar.
