From the Winter Solstice through the first few weeks of the year, we have circled, created magick, and continued to cultivate our Sisterhood! These Winter days are ripe with time spent in contemplation, as each of us gathers our thoughts and energies with which we will create again this Spring! Join us as we come into the light and embrace new beginnings!

Imbolc is a tender and precious time of year, the center point of the dark half of the year, and the metaphorical time of the maiden. During this time sheep are full with offspring and milk. The soil rests, soaking up water and waiting for the light, warmth, and tending that will come with the Spring planting. This is the pause before the activity of the growing season begins, and each of us, as mirrors of Mother Earth, are full with possibility as we rest and pause before bursting forth this Spring!

At our Daughters of the Goddess Temple Dedication Ceremony, we come together in Sacred Sisterhood at Imbolc time with the intention of weaving together our spiritual growth with that of the Daughters of the Goddess magickal tradition. This Temple is unique in that we are weaving together the traditions of the Hawaiian Aloha Spirit with that of Dianic Witchcraft. The intention of our Temple Dedication is that each of us will spend a year and a day dedicated to learning more about the Goddess, the Daughters of the Goddess magickal tradition, and the Temple mission.

The Temple Mission Statement is, "Daughters of the Goddess is a Dianic, Womyn-only Goddess Temple dedicated in the Spirit of Aloha to the preservation, perpetuation, and promotion of Goddess culture, public ceremony, ritual, and Womyn's Mysteries."

At our altar built to honor and call in the energies of Bridgid, Laka, and Artemis, we come together to witness one another as Spirit Womyn, Goddess Sisters, and Magickal Creatrixes on the brink of another year of greatness!

For this ceremony we wear all white clothing, as well as a crown/head wreath made from greenery and/or flowers. We also bring a white candle to the altar that will carry the energy of our Dedication throughout the year!

There are quite a few preparation details that womyn will need in advance of the ritual. Please RSVP by February 1, 2015.

We look forward to participating in this Sacred Rite of Womyn with you!

Blessed Be.
