by Prof. Benjamin Benson

Prof. Benjamin Benson is director Emeritus of the Jesse Peter Museum and has taught Native American Studies at both SSU and SRJC. Ben is a certified Native Art Appraiser and his work has included identifying and evaluating native art at the Smithsonian, the California Academy of Sciences, and many more educational and museum settings throughout the US and Europe.


Clint McKay (Wappo/Dry Creek Pomo), & his wife Lucy McKay (Sierra Miwok/Dry Creek Pomo) are both celebrated Pomo basket weavers. Clint McKay is the Chairman of the California Indian Basket Weavers Association Board of Directors.
