Each woman carries within her the capacity for great creativity. From the creation of life itself to the creation of art, inventions, medical discoveries, and handiwork, women through the ages have expressed their skillful creativity in ways that have left lasting impressions upon our world. Priestesses in ancient times and today are linked with the power of creativity - supervising and conducting the rituals that open the womb, the third eye, the heart, and the mind so that the numinous divine can be brought into form.

At this rite, the Mothers of the New Time (formerly the Bloodroot Honey Priestesses) will be giving birth to our future as a tribe by honoring our name change and consecrating two new High Priestesses in our lineage:
Temperance and Aurora Rose. Please join us for an evening of sacred celebration as we joyfully open new pathways for feminist spirituality in our lives and in our community.

We will also be honoring any new projects or endeavors that attendees would like to bless in the witness of sisterhood, so if you have been planning to become pregnant, create a new project, or make a significant personal change, please know you are welcome to bring a token representing your intention to be consecrated.

What to bring:
For all Goddess Sabbats, please bring a blanket (any kind of blanket is OK) to sit on or wrap yourself in whether or not you plan to disrobe. You never know when the mood to enjoy the nakedness may strike!

The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to remember who we were when life was new to us, who we truly are even now, when all the layers of identity assigned to us by others are lifted. Join us as we honor Psyche - the true inner self, the Maiden who remembers that "I can do anything! I can be anyone! I can go anywhere!"

Together, we will laugh and dance our way into our own inner selves to retrieve and re-affirm our freedom, along with happy memories from our youth. (It’s never too late to create new happy memories!) We will emerge triumphant, empowered, and free to enjoy being our true selves!
