Saturday night, the Grove of the Goddess celebrated the Maker's Moon by honoring Brighid. We made wishes in her name and learned that we can help make one another's wishes come true. Then we created a magical potion, a medicinal mix of herbs that can be drunk as tea or tinctured to help many physical and magical ailments. Below find the herbs used in our healing tincture, designed to prevent physical and energetic congestion, and to promote flow.

Brighid's Wellness Potion:

Angelica
a root used to raise the body temperature and promote digestion, can bring on menses, also used to magically purify an area

Basil
an herb used to relieve headaches, cramps, cold and flu, heal lover's quarrels, bring good luck and family harmony

Blackberry
can relieve diarrhea and and cleanses the kidneys of stones, sacred to Brighid and used to attract wealth and healing
